Battle Motors adds Senior Executives to Team
Truck manufacturer Battle Motors has more than doubled production throughput in 2021 and continues to position to lead the way in commercial vehicle manufacturing in North America. Production doubles again in Q2 as the Ohio factory footprint grows to 500,000 sq. feet and electric refuse and delivery vehicle deliveries increase.
Michael Patterson, CEO of Battle Motors says, “Demand is very strong. We have dramatically increased our throughput of diesel and CNG trucks and demand for EV’s has increased to the point that Battle Motors needed to add additional truck expertise to the Executive Team. I am pleased to announce the hiring of four new executive team members to better serve our customers.”
Stan Mikalonis has joined Battle Motors as its Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, he will be responsible for all sales and revenue growth opportunities for the company. Prior to joining Battle Motors, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales for Custom Truck One Source where he helped increase sales revenue 50% over the last four years. He spent three years as Vice President of National Accounts for Mack Trucks and ten years with Paccar in several leadership positions including General Sales Manager for Peterbilt Motors Company, Operations Director and Director of National Accounts for Paccar Financial Corporation. His background also includes truck dealership experience with Rush Enterprises and began his career in the full-service business with Rollins Leasing Corp. Stan is a dynamic executive leader with over thirty years of progressive experience primarily in the truck manufacturing industry. He has a strong educational profile highlighted by a Ph.D. in Organizational Management focused on building and developing high performing sales teams through sales enablement strategies.
Kelleigh Ash has joined Battle Motors as Chief Of Staff. Kelleigh is an experienced organizational leader with over 20 years of experience in the automotive and trucking industries. Driven by her passion for innovation, she takes pride in delivering strategic, exponential growth within corporations by building the company’s vision with strategic organizational development. She has several degrees including a PhD in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Automotive Engineering. Prior to joining Battle Motors, Kelleigh served in various senior leadership roles driving incremental growth within automotive manufacturers and enjoys her time as an automotive enthusiast. She serves on the SEMA Emerging Trends and Technologies Network (ETTN) Select Committee as the Chair Elect, and has been a past winner twice of the prestigious SEMA Top 35 under 35 award.
Oliver Weilandt, named Chief Financial Officer, is an experienced leader in the trucking industry, an activist CFO, and a passionate intrapreneur. Driven by the pursuit of new opportunities in the EV space, he takes pride in transforming existing organization and processes to capture value at the core and at the new frontiers of our industry. As Chief Financial Officer, his priorities are to transform the financial and procurement functions and processes to achieve profitable growth, and to ready Battle Motors from a reporting and compliance standpoint for its next steps. In addition to his primary role, he is also a tireless supporter of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and brings an international background to our team. Oliver joins us from Daimler Truck North America, where he held a CFO role in the aftermarket business unit.
Dion Isselhardt, named Chief Design Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for Battle Motors has 20 years of user experience, product design, and product development, interaction design, visual design, motion design, branding, web presence, print campaigns, video game interfaces, packaging, point-of-purchase displays and illustration. Dion is an experienced creative thought leader developing and leading teams in User Experience, Product Design and Product Development, with a strong track record of creating compelling customer-focused software and hardware design solutions for major corporations. Dion’s work with Amazon, Samsung, Electronic Arts, Bose and Romeo Power has included user experience, product design, product development, interaction design, visual design, motion design, branding, web presence, print campaigns, video game interfaces, packaging, point-of-purchase displays and illustration. Skilled at managing all business aspects of product design projects, including serving as primary contact for clients, providers, managing approval processes, developing schedules, balancing resources, presenting designs, working with budgets, and facilitating team and client retention. Dion also holds multiple US design patents.
