Driving Innovation: Battle Motors Unleashes Cutting-Edge BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) Solutions For Fleet Operations at the Texas Municipal League Conference
Industry Leader Pioneers the Future of Green Mobility in the Lone Star State
As Texas Invests Heavily in Electric Vehicle Upgrades
Riding a wave of success marked by double-digit expansion and the revolutionizing of municipal fleets nationwide, Battle Motors is preparing to bring its vocational electric vehicles to this year’s 111th Annual Texas Municipal League Conference & Exhibition in Dallas, TX. from October 4 to 6 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
Battle Motors will show the LNT BEV Curbtender QuantumMD 11 yd. rear loader – a fully electric refuse truck that represents zero-emission fleet solutions. Making the move to fuel-free mobility even more compelling, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality released the TxVEMP Grant for repowering or replacing eligible vehicles and equipment with all-electric models, along with supporting infrastructure. There is an estimated $87 million in funding available to upgrade or replace vehicles and equipment operating in Texas. This grant opportunity is targeting specific urban communities representing approximately 71% of the Texas population.
Michael Patterson, CEO & Founder of Battle Motors, expressed his enthusiasm about introducing EV-powered vocational trucks and making their refuse and utility truck solutions available in the state of Texas. He remarked, "Bringing our Made-in-America electric vocational vehicle solutions to the great state of Texas fills us with immense pride. Texas is a state with a rich tapestry of perspectives and approaches, and we're eager to engage in discussions with civic leaders about how our battle-tested, purpose-built electric trucks can contribute to cleaner, quieter, and highly efficient operations for municipalities across the Lone Star State."
On view at Booth 351 (Bond Equipment Company, Kyrish Truck Centers) the fully electric truck represents Battle Motors’ bullish stance on the future growth for BEV chassis, demonstrating Battle Motor’s unwavering drive to help customers meet today’s new challenges such as regulatory requirements and sustainability targets. In addition to robust specs that include a range of up to 210 miles with a three-hour fast charge and peak power of 570 hp, the vehicle also boasts impressive in-cab technologies. This includes a digital dash powered by RevolutionOS™, a proprietary API (Application Programming Interface) which fuses analytics with operations like real-time routing and messaging to smartly manage the vehicle and deliver rich decision-making data.
Additional fleetwide benefits Battle Motors’ fully electric trucks provide include:
- Regulatory compliance through quiet and emissions-free operation
- Regenerative braking for enhanced energy efficiency
- Advanced safety features for driver and pedestrian protection
- Spacious, ergonomic cab for maximum driver comfort
- Expanded payload capacity for reduced collection trips
Other Battle Motors trucks on display include a diesel LET2 cab over Heil 40-yard front loader at Booth 148 (Bond Equipment Company) and an LET2 cab over diesel Labrie Atomizer 27-yard side loader on view at Booth 149/249 (Reliance Truck & Equipment). Although they are powered by traditional powertrains, each chassis is Made-in-America rugged, built for the long-haul, and can be upgraded with options including ADAS, flatscreens and real-time data networks.
Taking the lead in transforming waste management by driving towards a cleaner, greener future, Battle Motors is at the forefront of revolutionizing fleet operations with solutions that reduce costs and maintenance while exceeding operator expectations.
