Electrical Validation Technician

We’re currently searching for an Electrical Validation Technician to join our team, help us grow and scale and continue our tradition of success. As an Electrical Validation Technician, you will be responsible to work with engineering and production associates to perform subsystem testing and validation, flash ECU’s in subassembly, perform truck electrical checklist and support electrical technicians in diagnosing and repairing trucks as needed.
Role and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Perform subsystem testing using software simulation tools
- Diagnose and repair subsystem failures
- Perform vehicle functional checklist
- Support electrical technicians to troubleshoot and repair trucks
- Willing to travel approximately 10%
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with electrical systems troubleshooting and repairing
- Electrical system diagnosing and repairing including HV and LV harnesses
- Familiar with HV subsystem and basic HV system architecture
- Familiar with CAN communication protocol
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficient with using a computer
- Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel
- Must be organized, with strong communication skills
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical system design, safety, EMI, EMC, HVIL
- Experience in harness certification for IEEE, SAE, and EMI standards
- Understanding of high voltage energy storage and charge systems in EVs
- Familiarity with related regulations, FMVSS/SAE standards, and practices
