We are looking for a field service technician to join our team and provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services to our national accounts customers. This position will report to the National Accounts Service Manager and will require frequent travel to different locations. 

  • Perform diagnostic tests, inspections, and repairs on Battle Motors vehicles and equipment 
  • Provide technical assistance and training to customers and other technicians 
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of parts, labor, and expenses 
  • Comply with all safety and environmental regulations and procedures 
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and other team members 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service technician or mechanic 
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record 
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of heavy duty vehicles and equipment 
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems 
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure 
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their supervisor immediately.
