Battle Motors is seeking an IT Intern, to provide design, installation, maintenance and support services to meet our growing company’s technical needs. The selected candidate will be responsible for helping to plan, prioritize, and complete all tasks related to maintaining and increasing our team’s efficiency to contribute to the company’s growth. This includes the development of systems enhancements projects where suitable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, support, and installation of computer software
- Imaging and troubleshooting end user devices
- Assist IT team with production support and preventative maintenance
- Assist with network infrastructure maintenance and deployments
- Collect, analyze and document user requirements
- Participate in software validation process through development, review, and execution of test cases and scripts
- Assist with the development and execution of validation plans and test cases
- Support development projects as necessary
- Other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- An active college student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Training and Job knowledge Requirements
- Basic SQL, Database basics, ssms, ms-query, navigating database tables and backup/restore databases
- Experience administrating end user and server OS’s
- Basic software/printer install/troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals. IP/subnetting, vlans, switches, routers, access points and firewalls
- Proficient with office 365
