Full time position responsible for the Electronic Control Module (ECM) of existing & future EV engines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage powertrain validation testing and certification at the vehicle level;
  • Advise executive management on emerging technologies and strategic technical issues with emphasis on powertrain technologies;
  • Contribute to truck logic via substems.

Education Requirements

  • Minimum - Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

Training Requirements

  • None

Job Knowledge Requirements

  • Must have 12 months experience as a Lead Powertrain Engineer;
  • Must have 12 months experience with the electrical aspects of hybrid vehicles;
  • Must have six months experience with intelligent vehicle systems.

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.
