National Account Manager - EV

The EV Sales Manager will support the development and execution of the EV sales strategy for the respective area of responsibility in the southern United States, in support of the Company’s annual plan. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve results through the current dealer and distribution network, as well as identifying new sales channels that help meet and exceed company objectives 
  • Research and identify potential open markets for dealers and seek out opportunities for dealership growth and assessing the competitive landscape 
  • Provide leadership and partnership that supports optimal sales team collaboration 
  • Participate in pricing strategies by providing the voice of the customer and market   
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the region 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required 

Training Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive sales experience in the commercial and vocational vehicle industry. 
  • Results driven, self-starter with a passion for winning. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. 
  • Experience in developing sales plans, Customer Relationship Management, selling in high growth industry.  
  • Must have the capacity to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels in the organization. 

Job Knowledge Requirements

  • Following established procedures, must have ability to prioritize several simultaneous projects. 
  • Must be able to work with people in all levels of the organization. 
  • Must keep current on new product development 
  • Recognize the Quality Management System in place at Battle Motors and participate in the processes and procedures of the QMS. 

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.
