We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a New Product Introduction (NPI) Planner. The NPI Planner will play a critical role in the successful launch of new products, ensuring seamless coordination between cross-functional teams and timely execution of key milestones throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to develop and execute comprehensive NPI plans for new products.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and critical path analyses to track progress and identify potential bottlenecks or risks.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of components and materials required for NPI activities.
- Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, address issues, and provide updates on key milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize NPI processes, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to facilitate effective communication and alignment on NPI priorities and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the NPI process.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing NPI projects from concept to launch, with a strong focus on meeting aggressive timelines and deliverables.
- Solid understanding of NPI processes, including product development, engineering change management, and manufacturing ramp-up.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, ERP systems) preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) a plus.
This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their supervisor immediately.
