Quality Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs administrative duties to assist the QA department and personnel.
- Assists in the activities required for the maintenance of the Quality Management System, including record retention, document changes/updates, internal auditing system, calibration system, etc.
- Responsible for the update, revision control, and distribution of all Quality documents.
- Administer and maintain the Quality systems related to calibration, and internal auditing.
- Maintain quality records in accordance with the record retention procedure.
- Prepare and distribute various departmental reports and matrixes.
- Perform inspection on materials as they are received or found to be discrepant.
- Guide team to cover all material quality inspection demands.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate material timing and escalation.
- Facilitate problem solving activities, including root cause analysis exercises.
- Identify systematic issues inside the production process and facilitate solutions and process improvements accordingly.
- Maintain Quality personnel training records, interacting with Human Resources where required.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required; including, word processing, spreadsheets, monthly reports, PowerPoint creation, and electronic filing.
- A minimum of one year Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- HS Diploma
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage various responsibilities at once and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to function as part of team but also be self-motivated.
- Experience presenting recommendations to the team and leadership.
- Detailed orientated.
- Must be fast-paced, self-motivated, and willing to support different tasks.
