Technical Training Manager

Responsible for facilitating and managing technical training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge for members of the dealer and customer network. Manage the collaboration between business operations, engineering, production, quality, service and parts teams to ensure that all pillars of the business are represented in essential training. Ensure necessary technical competencies are met by all trainees.
- Work with the Sr. Director of Training and Development to support the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of various roles within the dealer and customer network.
- Implement comprehensive technical training programs that cover equipment operation, service, maintenance, and quality standards in classroom and hands-on training sessions.
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to end-users, using a variety of instructional methods, including hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and e-learning tools.
- Ensure that training is tailored to different learning styles and experience levels.
- Incorporate safety training into all technical programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
- Make recommendations for improvements based on assessment results.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities, attendance, and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding training documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging training technologies.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to training programs to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Education Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience in teaching or training adult learners.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and develop effective training solutions.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools.
Training Requirements
- Must be proficient in MS Office, including accurate data entry and spreadsheets.
- Must possess accurate keyboard skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Confidentiality a must.
- Strong facilitation and organizational skills required.
Job Knowledge Requirements:
- Following established procedures, must have ability to prioritize several simultaneous projects.
- Must be able to work with people in all levels of the organization.
- Must keep current on new product development
- Recognize the Quality Management System in place at Battle Motors and participate in the processes and procedures of the QMS.
This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their supervisor immediately.
